Seneca Valley Football Receives USA Football Grant

June 24, 2016

Seneca Valley High School athletic director Jesse Irvin announced that the Screaming Eagle Football Program had been named a recipient of at $2,500 grant from USA Football.

The grant will allow the school to purchase new equipment through USA Football official equipment partner, Riddell Sporting Goods.

“This grant is great for our program and our school,” said Irvin.  “We apply for grants from different programs all of the time and Coach Fred Kim does a great job in also searching for and applying for grants. This year we were lucky enough to be awarded the grant. I think that it is great the USA Football offers these grants and are extremely appreciative to their organization.”

Irvin said the funds were going to be used to purchase new helmets for the program. “We were going to have to order some helmets this year anyway, and this allows us to use funds on other equipment and supplies for our football program,” said Irvin.
