MCPD Plans Sobriety Checkpoint for Saturday

With the arrival of warmer weather and the celebrations that often occur in the summer months, the Montgomery County Police Department continues to remind motorists to drive responsibly and choose a sober driver.

On Saturday, June 11, officers from the Montgomery County Police Department will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint. This enforcement is a component of the Montgomery County Police Department’s continuing effort to curb impaired driving and underage drinking.

The exact location of the checkpoint will not be disclosed in advance. The checkpoint times are approximate and the checkpoint will be cancelled if there is inclement weather.
