Police Report Armed Robbery on Crystal Rock Drive in Germantown

Montgomery County Police Department reported a number of criminal incidents in Germantown from May 9 through May 24.

   Montgomery County Police are searching for the robber who stole the cell phone and cash form two adult victims as they walked along the 19700 block of Crystal Rock Drive at midnight on Wednesday, May 18. Police say that the two men were approached by a white male, wearing a black mask and a black NorthFace jacket. He threatened the victims and demanded their cell phones and cash.

   Police report that there were three residential burglaries in the 20500 block of Staffordshire Drive in Germantown. The first occurred on May 8. The second attempted burglary occurred between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm on Wednesday, May 11. Police arrested 18-year-old Brendan Michael Park, of 13100 block of Wonderland Way in Germantown. Police believe Park may be responsible for both of these burglaries.

   A third burglary took place in the 20500 block Staffordshire Drive in the early morning hours of Sunday, May 21. Police arrested a 16-year-old Germantown male in connection with this case.

   Police report three other residential burglaries in the Germantown area.

   MCPD reports another residential burglary in the 19300 block of St. Johnsbury Lane on Monday, May 16 between 6:00 am and 12:00 pm.  Police say no forced entry, but property was stolen.

   Another residential burglary occurred in the 10000 block of Watkins Road in the early morning hours of Monday, May 16. In this case, there was evidence of forced entry and property was stolen.

    MCPD reported a residential burglary in the 13000 block of Town Commons Drive on Thursday, May 12 at 5:45 pm. There was no forced entry, but property was taken. The suspect was a black male, age unknown.

   Police reported a commercial burglary at Zee Trucking Inc., at 24610 Frederick Road between Friday, May 24 and Wednesday, May 29. Forced entry and property was taken.

   Montgomery County Police arrested a Germantown man in connection with multiple thefts from vehicles in the 19600 block of Gunner Branch Road in the early morning hours of Saturday, May 11. Police arrested 44-year-old Donald Blayloc of the 19500 block of Gunners Branch Road in Germantown.

   More multiple thefts from vehicles occurred between Tuesday, May 21 and Thursday, May 23. No force but property was stolen from vehicles on Stoney Point Place and Herefordshire Way.

   MCPD reminds residents that additional incidents may have occurred, and the reports had not yet been received at the time of publication, on June 10.
