This is a Sensory Friendly performance, designed to create a performing arts experience that is welcoming to families with children with autism or other disabilities that create sensory sensitivities.
Teatro Hugo e Ines’ Short Stories will take place in BlackRock’s Studio Theater, and is General Admission with both chairs and floor seating. Tickets to see Teatro Hugo e Ines’ Short Stories at BlackRock Center for the Arts are $15-$22 and are on sale in person, over the phone by calling 240.912.1058, or online at blackrockcenter.org.
Established in 1986, the Peruvian-based Teatro Hugo e Ines combines mime, dance, and puppetry in creative pieces that play out the poetic moments of daily life. Their Short Stories is a picturesque parade of colorful characters who, in the brief moments of its existence on the scene, try to catch those little poetic moments that are hidden in everyday life. These characters, with their dreams and frustrations, their successes and failures, tell us the eternal drama of human tragicomedy.
