Dump Truck Flips Between Houses

April 4, 2016

Montgomery County Police and Fire Rescue units were called to the quiet cul-de-sac of Tattershall Place when a contractor’s dump truck flipped on its side between houses on Monday afternoon.

Shortly before noon on Monday, April 4 workers were unloading a load of top soil at 14116 Tattershall Place when the load shifted and caused the dump truck to flip on its side between the houses. MCFRS reports that no one was injured, but the driver was transported to a local hospital for observation after the accident.

MCFRS and MCPD remained on the scene to deal with a small fuel spill which resulted from the dump truck being on its side. The truck required two trucks from Morton’s Towing & Recover to get upright, a large crane truck and a tow truck. The dump truck was eventually righted after about 90 minutes.
