Five Burglaries in Six Days

Montgomery County Police Department reported a number of criminal incidents in Germantown from March 7 through March 15.

   Police report that five burglaries took place in the Fifth District – Germantown in six days between Wednesday, March 9 and Monday, March 14.

   The first burglary took place in a residential dwelling in the 18900 block of Lark Song Terrace in the Manchester Farm are of Germantown on Wednesday, March 9 between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm. Police report that the residence was broken into and property was taken.

   Montgomery County Police say that two burglaries occurred in the residential homes at the construction site located at 13941 and 13945 Estuary Drive in Clarksburg in the early morning hours of Sunday, March 12. No forced entry and property was taken.

   Police report that in the early morning hours of Monday, March 14 someone attempted to break into the Germantown Community Center at 18905 Kingsview Drive in Germantown.

   Later that same day, between 2:30 pm and 4:40 pm on March 14, police report that a residential burglary occurred in the 19600 block of Crystal Rock Drive. Police say that there was no forced entry in this case, but property and cash was stolen.  

   MCPD reminds residents that additional incidents may have occurred and the reports had not yet been received at the time of publication, on March 24, 2016.
