Butler’s Orchard Announces Day Pass Fee, Additional Attractions

In an effort to ensure that the farm continues to thrive and remain part of the local community for generations to come, Butler’s Orchard, a favorite family visiting place for decades in Germantown has announced that starting in May of this year all farm visitors, over the age of two, will be asked to pay a small $3 fee for a Day Pass or $25 for a Season Pass.

This is the first time Butler’s has charged per-person access to the farm since it pioneered the “Pick Your Own” business, opening the farm for public picking in the 1950s.

The new Day Pass or Season Pass will grants access to all daily farm activities including entrance to the seasonal Pick Your Own fields, the Barnyard and picnic area, and the nature trail. Plus, this year Butler’s Orchard will be offering increased access and several new additions to the farm, including a nature trail, a variety of new vegetables to pick, a gorgeous Seasonal Sunflower Field, and new barnyard animals. Wednesdays will be free access all year round.

The farm will be open for the Bunnyland Festival, featuring a hayride down the Bunny Trail, an egg hunt, barnyard baby animals, a hay romp, and, of course a visit with the farm’s own Country Bunny. The Bunnyland Festival is a weather dependent event, please visit the Butler's website before traveling and for specific dates and times.

The Market and Farm will open for the season on May 6, please visit the website's Pick Your Own page for information regarding our new additions and policies.

Butler’s Orchard has been providing farm-fresh food, family-friendly fun and ethical pay for its workers for over 65 years.
