MCPD is Concerned for Missing Germantown Alzheimer’s Patient

Detectives from the 5th District Investigative Section in Germantown are asking the public’s help to locate a missing 66-year-old female with Alzheimer’s who has been missing from the Cloppers Mill area in Germantown.

   Nancy Eillen Strohmeyer of the 13100 block of Millhaven Place in Germantown, which is the neighborhood across Great Seneca Highway from Northwest High School, last had contact with a family member via phone Wednesday evening at approximately 7:00 pm and has not been seen or heard from since that time.

   On Thursday, detectives were asisted by Maryland State Police helicopter as they searched for Strohmeyer, but she has not been located.

   Strohmeyer is described as a white female, five-foot, seven-inches tall, and weighing approximately 130 pounds. She has shoulder-length blonde hair and may currently be wearing a tan coat over a turquoise sweatshirt.

   Strohmeyer is without her medication and police and family are concerned for her welfare. Officers are actively searching for Strohmeyer and have requested the assistance of a helicopter from the Maryland State Police to aid in the search.
