Police Seek Two Suspects After Armed Robbery in Shoppers Parking Lot

January 5, 2016

Montgomery County Police are hoping that the public can help them identify two men involved in an armed robbery of a man in the parking lot of the Shoppers store in Germantown on Sunday night.

According to police, on Sunday, Jan. 3 at approximately 8:10 pm, the adult male victim was robbed by two males in the parking lot of the Shoppers store. One of the suspects displayed a weapon. The suspects stole money from the victim and fled the area in a black colored vehicle, which could have possibly been an SUV.

The two suspects were caught on the Shoppers store security video and police have released two pictures of each suspects. Suspect One wore a black or perhaps brown jacket and blue jeans and what appears to be a Washington Redskins winter cap.

Suspect Two wore a grey hoodie over a dark blue tee-shirt with white lettering, and blue jeans. He appears to have a mustache and is pictured carrying a six-pack of beer.

Anyone with information regarding these suspects or the robbery is asked to call the 5th District Investigative Section at 240-773-6246. Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477). Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to an arrest and/or indictment for this felony crime.
