Montgomery County Police Department reported a number of criminal incidents in Germantown from Sept. 21 through Sept. 29.
MCPD report that apartments in The Park at Kingsview Village, which is off Leaman Farm Road near the Kingsview Village Shopping Center in Germantown was again victimized by burglars five times in the span of a week. Last week, Germantown Pulse reported that a burglar or burglars hit an apartment 13300 block of Dovedale Way on Sept. 16 and two other apartments on the 13400 block of Daventry Way, which is just around the corner, on Sept. 17 and Sept. 18.
This week MCPD reports that apartments in those locations were again victims of burglary. Police say, a burglary occurred in the 13300 block of Dovedale Way on Thursday, Sept. 24 between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm. Police report forced entry, and property was stolen.
And again police report another burglary took place in the 13400 block of Daventry Way, on Thursday, Sept. 24 between 12:45 pm and 2:50 pm. Police report forced entry, and property was stolen. Police believe that the latest two burglaries were related. That makes five burglaries on the blocks of Daventry Way and Dovedale Way between Sept. 17 and Sept. 24.
MCPD report another burglary at Hairways Salon located at 18024 Mateny Road in the Clopper Mill Village Shopping Plaza. Police say the burglary took place in the early morning hours of Thursday, Sept. 24. According to police, the salon was broken into property was stolen.
Police report that there were multiple thefts from vehicles which occurred in the early morning hours of Wednesday, Sept. 23. The vehicles were unlocked, and property was stolen on Steeple Road and Autumn Gold Road.
MCPD report that more thefts from vehicles occurred between Friday, Sept. 25 and Sunday, Sept. 27 on Waters Landing Drive and Afternoon Lane. Again there was no force used to enter the vehicles, which means they were unlocked, but property was stolen.
MCPD reminds residents that additional incidents may have occurred and the reports had not yet been received at the time of publication, on Oct. 9.
