Seneca Valley Hires New Varsity Wrestling and Softball Coaches

Seneca Valley High School Athletic Director Jesse Irvin has announced that the school has hired two new varsity coaches for the 2015-2016 school year.
Seneca Valley has named Aaron Dorsey the new varsity wrestling coach and Brittney Curry as the new varsity softball coach.
The new wrestling coach, Dorsey is a graduate of Quince Orchard High School, where he was a state champion wrestler. Dorsey also wrestled collegiately at Howard University.
The Seneca Valley wrestling team has been struggling to gain traction against stronger Montgomery County competition in recent years. The Screaming Eagles grapplers have not won more than three matches in a season since 2011.
On the softball diamond, Seneca hopes that Curry can move up from coaching the JV squad, where she has been coaching for three years, to improve the Screaming Eagles record. Season, Seneca Valley softball turned in a 7-12 record.
Curry is a graduate of Urbana High School and has been playing and coaching softball for many years, according to Irvin.
