Police Investigating Vehicle in Creek
Firefighters and EMS personnel pulled up to the scene of a pickup that had been driven off the road into a creek expecting to find at least one person in need of medical attention, but after further investigation the pickup was empty.
Montgomery County Fire Rescue Service and Montgomery County Police responded to a report of a truck which had just crashed through the guardrail and flipped into a creek on Clopper Road at Allspice Drive shortly after 10:30 pm Sunday night. MCFRS found a black 4x4 pickup truck which ended up on its side in Gunners Branch creek.
The vehicle appeared to be travelling westbound on Clopper Road, lost control and crossed the lane of oncoming traffic and went through the guardrail about 10 yards ahead of the overpass at Gunners Branch.
