Mother Seton to Host Benefit Concert for UMAN

Mother Seton Roman Catholic Church will host a benefit fundraising concert for The Upper Montgomery Assistance Network (UMAN) this Friday, Aug. 21 at 7:00 pm. The concert will feature two live bands, the Flower Hill String Band and the NO Parking band.

 

   The Flower Hill String Band is a Gaithersburg-based traditional Bluegrass band which also plays contemporary acoustic music. NO Parking band is a Germantown-based classic rock and blues band which has been performing at La Mexicana restaurant in Germantown. Tickets for Friday’s benefit concert are $10 at the door, and will be cash only.  The doors will open at 6:45 pm. Light refreshments will be available.

   Mother Seton is located at 19951 Father Hurley Boulevard in Germantown. UMAN helps prevent homelessness and utility loss for Germantown and Gaithersburg families in financial crisis.
