Chamber of Commerce Names New Board Members

The Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber of Commerce (GGCC) is pleased to announce that Liz Huntley of MedImmune & John Olenick of M&T Bank, have been elected to the GGCC Board of Directors.

   “It’s great to have people willing to volunteer their time and serve the business community. We are very happy to have Liz and John join our Board of Directors,” said GGCC President Marilyn Balcombe.

   Huntley is the Director of Corporate Citizenship & Community Relations at MedImmune. She is a corporate social responsibility, strategic philanthropy and communications professional with experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing enterprise-wide projects across geographies. 

   Olenick is Vice President of Business Banking at M&T Bank. His experience includes business development, operations, strategic planning, recruiting, auditing, operational accounting, budgeting and financial analysis.

   The GGCC is an organization of 400 members, including cutting-edge biotech firms, manufacturing companies, real estate development organizations, restaurants and hotels. The GGCC is active in providing business-to-business networking opportunities throughout the year: a collective voice in local, regional, and state legislative affairs, professional development opportunities and other services that enhance the business environment.
