Four Residences Burglarized in Germantown
Montgomery County Police Department reported a number of criminal incidents in Germantown from May 18 through May 26.
Police report four residential burglaries in the Germantown area between Wednesday, May 20 and Wednesday, May 27.
The first break-in took place during the day on Wednesday, May 20 between 11:00 am and 2:30 pm in the 19000 block of Gunners Branch Road. Police report that the burglar broke into the residence and took property.
Another residential burglary occurred in the 12000 block of Creamery Hill Drive early in the evening on Saturday, May 23. Police indicate that someone entered the residence between 5:00 and 6:00 pm through and took property.
Later that night, on May 24, police arrested two teenagers in connection with a residential burglary which took place between Saturday, May 23 and Sunday, May 24 in the 11000 block of Scenery Place. Two suspects -- a white male and a black male -- both 15-years-old were located and arrested. It is unknown how they gained entry in to the residence and stole property.
According to police, the fourth residential burglary occurred in the 17000 block of Kilmarnock Terrace on Wednesday, May 27 between 10:45 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. No forced entry; property taken.
Police have arrested a 24-year-old white male in connection with a theft from vehicle which occurred in the MARC Train Station at 19330 Mateny Hill Road on Tuesday, May 21 at 9:00 pm. The suspect broke-in to the vehicle and stole property.
MCPD report multiple thefts from vehicles occurred in the early morning hours of Sunday, May 24. Affected streets include Staffordshire Drive, Waters Point Lane, Afternoon Lane, and Timber Oak Lane. In all cases, there was no force; and property was taken.
MCPD reminds residents that additional incidents may have occurred and the reports had not yet been received at the time of publication, on June 4.
