No Patient Found After Report of Pedestrian Struck on Train Tracks

Montgomery County Fire Rescue Units were called to the railroad tracks near the intersection of Clopper Road and Clarksburg Road on Friday for a report of pedestrian struck by a CSX train, but no injured party could be located.
At about 10:45 am on Friday morning the MCFRS dispatch center received information that a young man tried to jump onto a passing CSX freight train but missed, falling and injuring his head near the Boyds MARC Train station.
MCFRS personnel searched for miles in both directions along the train tracks but were unable to locate any injured parties, according to MCFRS senior spokesman Pete Piringer.
At one point, a civilian neighbor on horseback arrived to help in search efforts, however no injured person was located. With no injured party, MCFRS units were dismissed and sent back to their stations.
