Police Investigate Stabbings in Bank Parking Lot

Montgomery County Police Detectives from District Five are investigating an incident which left two people with stab wounds and the third person with minor injuries in a TDBank parking lot in Germantown late Friday night.

Police were called to the TDBank lot at 19501 North Frederick Road on the corner of Scenery Drive for the report of multiple stabbing victims at 11:21 pm on Friday, May 8.

“Upon arriving at the scene officers encountered two victims who had suffered traumatic injuries and a third victim who had minor injuries,” Lieutenant Brian Tanzi of Montgomery County Police told the Germantown Pulse at the scene. “Detectives from the Fifth District are investigating and the Montgomery County Forensic Science Services team or crime scene unit is on the way to the scene.”

Montgomery County Fire Rescue EMS units were called to the scene to transport the victims to a local hospital.

Officers had taped off a portion of the bank parking lot which surrounded a black Volkswagon Golf, which could be seen with its back window broken and glass on the ground beneath the car. Officers from Montgomery County K-9 unit were seen checking the surrounding community.

Police would not comment as to the condition of the victims. The events leading up to the incident remain under investigation. Anyone with information can call the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24hrs).
