Paisano’s of Germantown held its grand opening celebration this week. The newest store in the Paisano’s chain of pizzerias opened in the Kingsview Village Shopping Center on Leaman Farm Road.

The restaurant, which is owned by franchisees Rizwan Bhopal and Neil Shah, celebrated its grand opening on Monday, April 27 with an official ribbon cutting ceremony held at 5:15 pm. The ribbon cutting was attended by the Gaithersburg Germantown Chamber of Commerce president Marilyn Balcombe and director of events and marketing Laura Rowles, and Catherine Matthews, the Director of Upcounty Regional Services Center in Germantown.

Later that night, Washington Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon made a personal appearance at the new Paisano’s location. Garcon signed autographs and met with customers.

Paisano's Pizza believes in using the freshest and finest ingredients around, and can meet everyone's individual tastes with a varied menu. Paisano’s offers pizza, of course, but also has salads, pastas, subs, and more.

The first Paisano's opened in the Shoppes at Fair Lakes in Fairfax, Va. in June of 1997. Since then, the company has expanded by adding multiple company-owned locations as well as franchises. The Germantown location is the third Paisano’s to open in Maryland. The other locations are in Gaithersburg and Rockville. The chain operates 23 locations in Virginia.

The Germantown Paisano’s is located at 18313 Leaman Farm Road and can be reached at 301-528-8000 or online at www.paisanospizza.com.
