Montgomery County Police Department reported a number of criminal incidents in Germantown from April 1 through April 7.
Police are looking for a man or unknown age who was alledgedly exposing himself at the Starbucks located in the Safeway Shopping Center at 192724 Germantown Road. According to police, the incident took place at 2:30 pm in the afternoon on Wednesday, April 1. Police say the intoxicated suspect was exposing himself.
MCPD reported three residential burglaries in the Fifth District.
The first took place in the 17000 block of Moore Road in Dickerson on Wednesday, April 1 at 11:40 pm. Forced entry and nothing was taken.
The second residential burglary took place in the 23000 block of Sugar View Drive in Clarksburg between 10:30 am and 7:00 pm on April 2. Police report that there was forced entry and property was taken in this instance.
The third residential burglary also took place on April 2 in the 22000 block of Winding Woods Way in Clarksburg at a home which was under construction. No forced entry, but property was taken.
MCPD reported five thefts from vehicles occurred between April 2 and April 3. Streets affected were Harmony Woods Lane, Highstream Drive, Bay Leaf Way, Climbing Ivy Drive and McFarlin Drive. Due to the time of occurrence and close physical proximity the incidents are possibly related, according to police. No forced entry; property taken.
Three additional thefts from vehicles from vehicles occurred between April 6 and April 7 to the west of Germantown Road and south of Clopper Road. Streets affected were Autumn Rust Road, Ashleigh Greene Road and Bear Creek Drive. Due to the commonalities it is possible these three incidents are related, according to police. No forced entry; property taken.
MCPD reminds residents that additional incidents may have occurred and the reports had not yet been received at the time of publication, on April 16.
