Germantown Library to Host Small Business Seminars
The Montgomery County Public Library in Germantown will host a series of three monthly seminars on starting a small business. The seminars are presented by SCORE DC.
The first seminar, titled “How to Start Your Business” will take place on Thursday, April 23 at the library will run from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and will include a question-and-answer session following the presentations.
The next session titled, “How to Finance Your Business” will take place on Monday, May 4 at 7:00 pm.
Finally, the last session titled, “How to Market Your Business” will be held on Thursday, June 11 at 7:00 pm.
In each session, mentors from SCORE will discuss factors that will help lead to a successful business, including: testing your business idea and readiness, financial planning and marketing your business.
The series is co-sponsored by SCORE DC and the Germantown Library. SCORE is a 50 year-old nonprofit whose mission is to help entrepreneurs and small business to succeed. The mentors of the Greater Washington DC chapter consult clients in 12 locations, including at Rockville Memorial and Wheaton libraries. For more information, visit www.washingtondc.score.org.
