Attempted Burglary at Germantown Church

Montgomery County Police Department reported a number of criminal incidents in Germantown from March 16 through March 24.

   Police report an attempted burglary at Salem Methodist Church, at 23725 Ridge Road in Germantown occurred between Sunday, March 22 and Tuesday, March 24. Police report that someone attempted to break-in but nothing was taken.

   Two residential burglaries occurred in Clarksburg. One in the 23000 block of Frederick Road in Clarksburg on March 10 between 7:30 am and 6:00 pm. Police report there was forced entry and property was taken.

   The second Clarksburg residential burglary took place in the 23000 block of Serviceberry Drive in Clarksburg between Friday, March 20 and Sunday, March 22. There was no forced entry in this case, but property was stolen.

   MCPD reported six thefts from vehicles in M1 beat between March 16 and March 24. The streets affected included Choctaw Court, Wheatfield Terrace, Dunstable Circle, and Knights Court in Germantown. Items taken included cash, wallet, jewelry, CDs, iPod Touch, chargers, Bluetooth, and GPS devices.

   MCPD reminds residents that additional incidents may have occurred and the reports had not yet been received at the time of publication, on April 2.
