Seneca Valley High School Senior Tyatianna Johnson has officially accepted an appointment to, and will attend, the United States Military Academy at West Point.
“We are so very proud of her,” said Seneca Valley Principal Marc Cohen.
Johnson who has been a track stand-out at Seneca Valley will also run track at West Point. “She is a great kid. A great role model for her peers,” said Seneca Valley Athletic Director, Jesse Irvin. “She is a hard worker who went after what she wanted. We are extremely proud of her and hope that other student athletes will see what hard work and good grades can get you. With a degree from West Point, she will have her choice of pretty much any job she desires.”
