Montgomery County Police Department reported a number of criminal incidents in Germantown from February 23 through March 3.
Police report that a resident was the victim of an armed robbery in which two males held him up at knife point and took his wallet. The incident occurred Sunday, March 1 at 7:00 pm in the area of Cinnamon Drive and Nutmeg Place in Germantown. Two suspects dressed in all black and wearing black ski masks exited a vehicle and approached the victim who was walking, showed a knife and took his wallet and identification.
Police have arrested one of two people in connection with two attempted robberies at the Germantown Transit Center at 19945 Aircraft Drive. The attempted robberies both took place on Sunday, March 3 between 10:00 pm and 10:30 pm. In both cases the suspects attempted to remove property from the victim. Police have arrested a 26-year-old woman from Germantown and are still seeking a black male in connection with these crimes.
A residential burglary occurred in the 19300 block of Golden Meadow Drive in Germantown on Wednesday, Feb. 25 between 8:15 am to 6:00 pm. Forced entry; nothing taken.
MCPD arrested a 21-year-old woman in connection with a residential burglary which took place on Friday, Feb. 27 on the 18600 block of Village Fountain Drive in Germantown at 3:00 pm. The suspect is known to the victim.
Police have arrested two teenage males, a 19-year-old and a 16-year-old, in connection with an aggravated assault which occurred in the 13000 block of Prairie Knoll Court in Germantown, on Tuesday, March 3 at around 6:00 pm.
MCPD reminds residents that additional incidents may have occurred and the reports had not yet been received at the time of publication, on March 13.
