Montgomery County Police Department reported a number of criminal incidents in Germantown from Jan. 19 through Jan 27.
On Sunday, Jan. 25 between 6:30 am and 8:30 am a residential burglary occurred which lead to the theft of a vehicle. The incident happened in the 13000 block of Rising Sun Lane in Germantown. The suspect took keys from the home and used the keys to steal the vehicle, according to police.
Another residential burglary occurred in the 19000 block of Sweetgum Circle in Germantown between Friday, Jan. 23 and Saturday, Jan. 24. Unknown entry and nothing was taken.
A commercial burglary occurred at Panda East, 26131 Ridge Road in Damascus overnight between Sunday, Jan. 25 and Monday, Jan. 26. There was forced entry and property was taken from the business.
Police arrested a 35-year-old female in connection with an aggravated assault which occurred in the 23000 block of Timber Creek Lane in Clarksburg on Wednesday, Jan. 21 between 8:30 am and 9:00 am. The suspect is known to the victim.
MCPD reports that there were twelve thefts from vehicles during this reporting period in the M1 Beat. One was an attempt only. Incidents occurred on Seneca Meadows Parkway, Drumcastle Terrace, Apple Harvest Circle, Panthers Ridge Drive, Eton Manor Drive, Weybridge Lane, Regents Park Drive and Notting Hill Way in Germantown. Items taken included a purse, cash, clothing, jewelry, glasses, headphones, a backpack, a knife, a car charger, gift cards, and a spare key.
MCPD reminds residents that additional incidents may have occurred and the reports had not yet been received at the time of publication, on Feb. 10.
