Indecent Exposure in Wal-Mart Parking Lot Leads Police Blotter

Montgomery County Police Department reported a number of criminal incidents in Germantown from Jan. 5 through Jan. 13.

Police report that a man exposed himself while inside his vehicle in the parking lot in front of the Wal-Mart store in the Milestone Shopping Center on Friday, Jan. 9 at about 5:45 pm.

There were two residential burglaries in the Germantown area between Saturday, Jan 10 and Monday, Jan. 12

The first took place on the 11300 block of Halethorpe Terrace in Germantown between Jan. 10 and Jan. 11. Police report there was forced entry and property was taken.

The second residential burglary took place on Sunday, Jan. 11 and Monday, Jan. 12 on the 19200 block of Wheatfield Drive in Germantown. There were two unlocked vehicles in an open garage that were searched. An iPod, laptop, charger, and cash were taken.

MCPD arrested a 35-year-old Germantown man in connection with an aggravated assault which took place on the 12100 block of Skip Jack Drive in Germantown on Sunday, Jan. 11. The suspect is known to the victim.

Police arrested a 26-year-old male in connection with a vehicle-related theft on Friday, Jan. 9 at 11:31 am in the parking lot of the Pep Boys store in the Milestone Shopping Center.

There were three thefts from vehicles reported by MCPD in the N1 beat between Jan. 5 and Jan. 13. No forced entry; items taken included a cell phone, charger, and an ice scraper. Incidents occurred on Eagles News Court, Pikesview Drive and Esmond Terrace in Germantown.

MCPD reminds residents that additional incidents may have occurred and the reports had not yet been received at the time of publication, on Jan. 23.
