Victim Robbed at Knifepoint at Bus Stop

Montgomery County Police Department reported a number of criminal incidents in Germantown from Dec. 1 through Dec. 9.

   Montgomery County Police are reporting a juvenile has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery which occurred at the bus stop at Clopper Road and Mateny Road in Germantown at 9:45 pm on Saturday, Dec. 6.

   According to police four suspects threatened the victim with a knife near the bus stop to obtain property. While one suspect has been arrested, three others remain at large. Police have released descriptions of two of the remaining suspects; both are black males one is approximately 19-years old 5-foot, 5-inches tall wearing an orange jacket with a hood, and black pants. The other suspect was approximately 21-22 years old between 5-foot, 5-inches and 5-foot, 8-inches tall, wearing a yellow jacket, khaki pants, and white sneakers.

   MCPD reports a sex assault occurred in the 20700 block of Crystal Rock Drive in Germantown on Monday, Dec. 8 between 5:00 pm and 9:00 pm. Police report in this case the suspect is known to the victim.

   Police have arrested an 18-year-old male from Germantown in connection with an aggravated assault which occurred at Seneca Valley High School on Crystal Rock Drive on Thursday, Dec. 4 at 11:15 am. Police report that the suspect was known to the victim.

   MCPD report a vehicle was stolen in the 20800 block of Amber Ridge Drive in Germantown between Wednesday, Dec. 3 and Friday Dec. 5.

   Police report that attempted vehicle theft occurred in the 20400 block of Apple Harvest Circle in Germantown on Friday, Dec. 5 between 8:00 am and 11:30 am. The vehicle was left unlocked and a suspect attempted to steal it.

   Police reported a dirt bike was stolen from the back yard of a residence in the 18700 block of White Sands Drive in Germantown on Thursday, Dec.4 between 2:00 pm and 4:30 pm. 

   An aggravated assault occurred in the 19600 block of Crystal Rock Drive in Germantown on Sunday, Dec. 7 at 8:30 pm. The suspect is known to the victim.

   Another aggravated assault took place in the 19000 block of Sawyer Terrace in Germantown on Friday, Dec. 5 at 2:00 am. The suspect is known to the victim.

   A residential burglary took place in the 2300 block of Dancrest Drive in Clarksburg on Sunday, Dec. 7 between 2:00 am and 6:00 am. Police report that there was no forced entry but property was taken.

   MCPD reports a number of thefts from vehicles during the period, including one in the 19800 block of Century Boulevard in Germantown on Tuesday, Dec. 2 between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm. There was no forced entry, but cash and credit cards were taken.

   Another theft from vehicle occurred on Lock Park Court in Germantown on Thursday, Dec. 4 between 5:30 am and 10:00 am, again no forced entry but a purse and prescriptions were taken.

   Police report another theft from vehicle in the 20100 block of Club Hill Drive in Germantown, on Thursday, Dec. 4 at midnight. Police report unknown entry, but change was taken.

   Another theft from vehicle occurred in the 13500 block of Station Street in Germantown overnight between Sunday, Dec. 7 and Monday, Dec. 8. No forced entry, but cash and credit cards were taken.

   Locbury Circle in Germantown was the site of another theft from vehicle which occurred on Monday, Dec. 8 between midnight and 4:00 am. No forced entry but a nebulizer was taken.

   Police report an attempted theft from vehicle occurred in the 13000 block of Thunderhead Drive in Germantown overnight between Wednesday, Dec. 3 and Thursday, Dec. 4. Nothing was taken.

   MCPD reminds residents that additional incidents may have occurred and the reports had not yet been received at the time of publication, on Dec. 18.
