Two Teens Arrested in Connection With Robbery

Montgomery County Police Department reported a number of criminal incidents in Germantown from Nov. 3 through Nov. 12.

   MCPD arrested two youths in connection with a strong-arm robbery occurred behind the Subway restaurant at 18010 Mateny Road in Germantown on Wednesday, Nov. 5 around 3:00 pm. Police arrested a 15-year-old male and 17-year-old male. The suspects are known to the victim.

   An indecent exposure incident occurred on the 19700 block of Crystal Rock Drive in Germantown on Friday, Nov. 7 at 9:00 pm. MCPD are looking of a unshaven 5-foot, 10-inch black male, about 180 pounds with dreadlocks.

   MCPD reports that a 20-year-old man from Germantown was arrested in connection with a residential burglary which occurred in the 12200 block of Major Drive in Germantown on Saturday, Nov. 8 just before 1:00 p.m. Unknown entry; property taken.

   Police report an attempted residential burglary occurred in the 19500 block of Gunners Branch Road in Germantown on Tuesday, Nov. 11 between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Attempted forced entry; nothing taken.

   A residential burglary with forced entry occurred on the 20100 block of Club Hill Drive in Germantown on Wednesday, Nov. 15 at 1:00 pm. 

   Another residential burglary occurred in the 12100 block of Brittania Circle in Germantown on Friday, Nov. 7 around 8:00 a.m. There was no forced entry, but property was taken.

    MCPD arrested two youths in connection with an attempted burglary which occurred in the 13500 block of Winterspoon Land in Germantown on Sunday, Nov. 9 at around 11:25 am. Two females, 13- and 14-years-old, from Gaithersburg were arrested.

   A residential garage burglary occurred in the 20800 block of Severndale Terrace in Germantown between Sunday, Nov. 9 at 10:30 p.m. and Monday, Nov. 10 at 7:00 a.m. The garage was left open; change and an iPad were taken from an unlocked vehicle inside.

    A vehicle theft occurred in the 26000 block of Stanley Hills Way in Damascus on Friday, Nov. 7 between midnight and 5:00 a.m. There was no sign of forced entry and the victim recovered the vehicle in a ditch several hundred yards from his home.

   An aggravated assault occurred on the 12600 block of Grey Eagle Court in Germantown on Thursday, Nov. 6. A 13-year-old male from Germantown was arrested. The suspect is known to the victim.

   A 31-year-old Germantown man was arrested in connection with an aggravated assault on the 13600 block of Palmetto Circle in Germantown on Tuesday, Nov. 11 just before 9:00 a.m. The incident stemmed from a traffic altercation.

   MCPD reminds residents that additional incidents may have occurred and the reports had not yet been received at the time of publication, on Nov. 21.
