Strong-Arm Robbery at Kingsview Middle School

Montgomery County Police Department reported a number of criminal incidents in Germantown from Tuesday, October 27 through Tuesday, Nov. 4.

   MCPD arrested two juveniles in connection with a strong-arm robbery which occurred at Kingsview Middle School on Saturday, November 1 at 10:30 pm. The suspects, two teenage boys are Germantown residents, 16-year-old and 17-year-old were arrested. According MCPD the boys assaulted their victim and stole property on the school property at 18909 Kingsview Road.

   In an unreleated case, police also arrested a 13-year-old Germantown boy on aggravated assault charges after he threatened a victim with an Airsoft gun, which is a replica firearm, designed to be non-lethal which fires pellets using either compressed gas, or spring driven or electrical piston mechanisms. The incident took place on the 19500 block of Frederick Road in Germantown on Monday, Nov. 3 at 6:00 pm.

   A strong-arm robbery occurred at the intersection of Mateny Road and Split Rock Lane in Germantown on Thursday, Oct. 30 at 1:30 am. The suspects assault the victims and obtained property.

   MCPD arrested two 20-year-old males, one from Silver Spring and one from Gaithersburg, in connection with a residential burglary in the unit block of Seneca Forest Court in Germantown on Tuesday, Oct. 28 between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm.

An aggravated assault occurred at the intersection of Wisteria Drive and Bent Willow Circle in Germantown on Tuesday, Oct. 28 at 10:00 pm. The suspect is known to the victim.

   Police arrested a 23-year-old Germantown man in connection with an aggravated assault which occurred in the 19600 block of Crystal Rock Drive in Germantown in the early morning hours of Friday, Oct. 31. The suspect is known to the victim.

   A residential burglary occurred in the 12900 block of Falling Water Circle in Germantown on Tuesday, Nov. 1  between 9:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.

   Three theft from vehicles occurred during this reporting period: one in the 11600 block of Tall Pines Drive in Germantown overnight Tuesday, Oct. 28. No forced entry; two laptops, two cell phones and a watch were taken. The second theft occurred in the 11600 block of Drumcastle Terrace in Germantown overnight between Tuesday, Oct. 28  and Wednesday, Oct. 29. Clothes and cash were taken. The third  occurred at 20600 Seneca Meadows Parkway in Germantown in the parking garage of Wegman’s Grocery Store overnight between Friday, Oct. 31 and Saturday, Nov. 1. Forced entry; A purse was taken.

   MCPD reminds residents that additional incidents may have occurred and the reports had not yet been received at the time of publication, on Nov. 14, 2014.
