Montgomery County Police Department reported a number of criminal incidents in Germantown from Oct. 13 through Oct. 21.
The Montgomery County Police website, www.mymcpnews.com reported three residential burglaries, and made arrests in connection with one.
MCPD arrested two people, a 21-year-old male from Germantown and 21-year-old female from Cumberland, Md., in connection with a residential burglary which occurred in the 20500 block of Bridger Way in Germantown on Wednesday, Oct. 15 between 8:30 am and 11:30 pm. There was no forced entry in this case, but property was taken.
Police reported other residential burglaries, one in the 20700 block of Crystal Rock Circle in Germantown on Friday, Oct.17 at 2:15 am. In this case, the suspect is known to the victim.
Another residential burglary took place in the 19600 block of Crystal Rock Drive in Germantown on Wednesday, Oct. 15 between 5:00 am and 5:00 pm There was no forced entry in this case, but property was taken.
Police reported an aggravated assault on the 19000 block of Sawyer Terrace in Germantown on Friday, Oct. 17 at 6:15 pm. The suspect is known to the victim.
MCPS reported a commercial burglary at the Little Far East II restaurant in the 26000 block of Ridge Road in Damascus on between Wednesday, Oct. 15 and Thursday, Oct. 16. In the case there was forced entry and property was taken.
There were two thefts from vehicles on Thursday, Oct. 16 between 3:00 am and 4:00 am on Ginger Tree Way in Clarksburg. Items taken included: a Leatherman tool, sunglasses and a Swiss army knife.
MCPD also reported two vehicle-related thefts in the Fountain Hills area, on different nights, but wallets and credit cards were taken from each. Incidents occurred on Champions Way and Fountain Club Drive in Germantown.
MCPD reminds residents that additional incidents may have occurred and the reports had not yet been received at the time of publication, on Oct. 31.
