Armed Robbery Leads Police Blotter

Montgomery County Police Department reported a number of criminal incidents in Germantown from Sept. 22 through Sept. 30.

   An armed street robbery occurred at the intersection of Milestone Manor Lane and Frederick Road in Germantown on Wednesday, Sept. 24 at 6:10 pm. The suspects, two black males, were driving and called the victims over to the vehicle and threatened them with a firearm. The suspects obtained property and fled away in the vehicle. 

   MCPD was called to the Green Turtle at 19916 Century Boulevard in Germantown for a fight on Friday, Sept. 26 at 12:30 am. Three arrests men were arrested for aggravated assault two 22-year-old males from Dickerson and a 23-year-old man from Gaithersburg.

   An aggravated assault also occurred at 3:00 am on the 18900 block of Pine Ridge Land in Germantown. The suspect, a 23-year-old Germantown man was arrested; he is known to the victim.

   A residential burglary occurred on the 17200 block of Snow Goose Court in Germantown on Wednesday, Sept. 24 at 7:00 pm. No forced entry and property was taken from the garage.

   There were five thefts from vehicles from Sept. 22 through Sept. 30 along the M1 Beat in Germantown. The incidents occurred on Apple Harvest Circle, Maryland Manor Court, Bloomingville Court, Aldburg Way and Scarlet Leaf Terrace in Germantown. The items taken in these cases included cash, cell phones, wallets, phone chargers and CDs

   MCPD reminds residents that additional incidents may have occurred and the reports had not yet been received at the time of publication, on Oct. 10, 2014.
