Gaithersburg Police Arrest Germantown Man on PCP Charges
Gaithersburg Police have arrested a Germantown man and two others on drug-related charges.
On Monday, Sept. 22, Gaithersburg police, working off of a complaint from citizens about possible drug activity, conducted surveillance operations in the area of the 400 block of Girard Street in Gaithersburg.
According to a Gaithersburg Police press release, officers stopped individuals on foot and conducted a traffic stop related to the activity. One subject who was approached by foot fled from police but was subsequently apprehended and charged accordingly. During the traffic stop, distribution amounts of Phencyclidine (PCP) and $31,000 in U.S. currency were discovered. The driver and passenger were also charged accordingly.
Arrested were Colenester Bernard Jones III, 23, of Germantown, Kittrell Andre Budd, 23, of Gaithersburg, and Marcus Anthony Plummer, 26, of Damascus. Budd is currently being held at the Montgomery County Detention Center. Jones and Plummer have been released after posting bail.
