Monarch Fiesta at Black Hill Park

Black Hill Regional Park will celebrate Monarch butterflies this Saturday, Sept. 20 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm with the Monach Fiesta Day.

The free fiesta, open to all ages, is a celebration of the butterfly’s metamorphosis and journey. Montgomery County Parks and Recreation Department will have exhibits on the beautiful butterflies’ journey, as well as face painting, story times, crafts as well as monarch tagging.

The program is free and is run on a first-come, first-served basis. No registration is required. Black Hill Regional Park is located at 20926 Lake Ridge Drive in Boyds.
