Three Burglaries in This Week’s Police Blotter

Montgomery County Police Department reported a number of criminal incidents in Germantown from Tuesday, Aug. 18 through Tuesday, Aug. 26.

   The Montgomery County Police website, www.mymcpnews.com reported a residential burglary on the 19200 block of Circle Gate Drive in Germantown between the morning of Monday, Aug. 18 and Tuesday evening, Aug. 19. The report said the burglary was a forced entry to the residence and property was taken

   Another residential burglary took place on Observation Court in Germantown on Tuesday, Aug. 19 in the early morning. There was no force entry reported, but property was stolen.

   MCPD reports a robbery occurred on the 18300 block of Bailiwick Terrace in Germantown between 10:00 pm Tuesday, Aug. 19 and 10:40 am on Friday, Aug. 22. Police report that the suspects are know to the victim.

   The 18400 block of Thundercloud Road in Boyds was the scene of a residential burglary on Saturday, Aug. 23 between 6:15 pm and 11:20 pm. Police report no forced entry in this case, but property was taken.

   An attempted residential burglary occurred on the 13000 block of Middlebrook Road in Germantown on Monday, Aug. 25 between midnight and 7:00 am. There were signs attempted forced entry at the residence, however nothing was taken.

MCPD also reported seven thefts from vehicles throughout the N1 Beat. The N1 Beat includes the area north of the MARC train tracks and south of Route 270 between Little Bennett Lake and Great Seneca State Park. Various items were taken from vehicles which were unlocked. There were no forced entry in of the incidents which occurred on Gunnerfield Lane, Crystal Hill Circle, Provost Way, Station Street, Island View, and Skip Jack Drive in Germantown.

   MCPD reminds residents that additional incidents may have occurred and the reports had not yet been received at the time of publication, on Sept. 5.
