Germantown Police Blotter

Montgomery County Police Department reported a number of criminal incidents in Germantown from Monday, Aug. 11 through Tuesday, Aug. 19.

   The Montgomery County Police website, www.mymcpnews.com reported a residential burglary on the 19500 block of Gunners Branch Road in Germantown sometime between Wednesday, Aug. 13 and Saturday, Aug. 16. There was a forced entry and property was taken.

   MCPD also reported thefts from vehicles in the between Tuesday, Aug. 12 and Wednesday, Aug 13 north of the Observation Drive in Germantown corridor. There were no signs of forced entry to the vehicles parked on Royal Crown Drive and Purple Aster Court; both were searched. Various loose items such as a cell phone charger, beer, and a soccer ball were taken.

   A residential burglary was reported on the 19200 block of Circlegate Drive in Germantown on Tuesday, Aug. 19.

   MCPD reminds residents that additional incidents may have occurred and the reports had not yet been received at the time of publication, on Aug. 29.
