Teen Book Giveaway at Library

IMG_8005.JPG

The Germantown Library is helping teenagers get their summer reading done with a Teen Book Giveaway next week. Beginning Monday teens can stop by the library anytime for a free book. Books will include recent publications as well as some gently used old favorites. One book per day per student will be hand out to high school and middle school students, while supplies last. The Teen Book Giveaway will run Monday, Aug. 18 through Sunday, Aug. 24.

The library will also host a Master Gardeners Session on Wednesday, Aug. 20 at 6:15 pm. Master Gardeners give advice about plants, flowers, and anything that grows in the garden. Residents can bring their ailing plants, or come in for a free consultation with the master gardeners. The session will take place outside the ground floor entrance of the library.

The Library is located at 19840 Century Boulevard. For more information check out the Germantown Library website or call 240-777-0110.
