MoCo to Improve Middlebrook Road
This month the Montgomery County Department of Transportation’s Division of Highway Services will begin a project to improve Middlebrook Road from Route 355 to Great Seneca Highway in Germantown.
The project to preserve pavement will include the complete full-depth patching of pavement and sealing of cracks, according to the DHS. The project will also include applying a micro surfacing material, a sweep of residual stone, and the repainting of lane markings.
The work on Middlebrook Road will be conducted at night from 8:00 pm to 5:00 am and is scheduled to take about four weeks to complete.
In July, the DHS started similar projects on other Germantown roads including pavement preservation and improvement on Richter Farm Road, from Great Seneca Highway to Germantown Road; improvements to Dairymaid Drive, from Great Seneca Highway to Germantown Road; and a project to improve Dawson Farm Road, also from Great Seneca Highway to Germantown Road.
These projects began at different times in July and are expected to take about four weeks to compete, with crews working from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
