Dickey’s Barbecue Pit Celebrates Customers as it Reopens With New Owner

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, in Germantown, will host a customer appreciation event to celebrate its reopening under new ownership this weekend by offering three chances for customers to win free barbecue for a year.

   The event will kick off on Thursday, July 31 and run through Saturday. Thursday starts with the first 100 guests receiving free quarter plate cards. On Friday, the first 100 guests will receive a big yellow cup. While on Saturday, radio station 99.9 Free Country will be at the restaurant from noon to 2 pm when three winners will receive free barbecue for an entire year. Dickey’s Barbecue will offer all day merchandise giveaways during all three days.

   New owner Jim Hickin said, “I’m excited to reopen Dickey’s Barbecue Pit and give the people of Germantown the great barbecue and quality service we’re known for. I’ve loved working for Dickey’s and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to fulfill my dream of owning multiple Dickey’s Barbecue Pit locations. I’m especially looking forward to meeting the people of Germantown.”

   The Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in Germantown is located at 18056 Mateny Road and the phone number is 240.912.5111.Hickin is also the owner a Dickey’s Barbecue Pit located in Cortland, NY.
