The Northwest lacrosse team took another step towards getting rid of the ghosts which lingered around after last year’s disappointing season as they defeated Gaithersburg, 13-6 Monday night in Germantown. The Jags were led by Hunter Thompson’s five goals and Cole Notari’s four goals. Thompson got the scoring started just very early as he sliced a shot past Gaithersburg’s goalie Angel Rivera just 14 seconds into the game to put the Jags up 1-0. The Jags came into Monday’s game
